Retreat & Speaking Ministry
"Go home to your friends, and tell what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you." Mark 5:19
Lolita Loughner is available to speak at retreats and at one-time engagements. She has a powerful testimony of God’s salvation and transformed life in Christ. God moves through her testimony and gifting in powerful ways. God has brought to many people the gift of salvation, and healing from addictions, mental illness, and from a variety of afflictions as she tells her story.
Lolita states, “I was an atheist for 40 years when I met the living God. I was dying and while being transported in a medical helicopter to a Medical Trauma Center, I had a dramatic encounter with God. Suddenly I was blinded by a white light and I was taken up into the heavenlies. I saw glorious facets of the eternal kingdom of God and the mysteries of Christ when I encountered Jesus who IS Perfect Love. My mind, heart, and life have been dramatically transformed by the love of Jesus. I yearn for every person to know the adventuresome life God desires for each person to experience on earth. God's love is infinitely life giving.”
Lolita has a BA in Psychology from Biola University and a MA in Biblical & Theological Studies/Diversified with a Pastoral Counseling Emphasis from Talbot Seminary-Biola University. She was a licensed pastoral counselor and the leader oversight of the Benevolence & Pastoral Care Ministries on Staff of an Orange County Church from 2005-09. She has been serving God, church communities, and secular communities as the Co-Founder of Freedom Ministries since its founding in 2009. She was ordained by AIGA in October, 2008. She remains as a credentialed professional pastoral counselor with the Board of Professional & Pastoral Counselors - American Association of Christian Counselors, and is dedicated to uphold the AACC Code of Ethics. She is a retired chaplain from the Chaplain Corps of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. She served local law enforcement personnel and victims at the San Bernardino Terrorist Attack scenes, and received an Honorable Service Commemorative Ribbon Bar for her service. She is a retired chaplain from the United States Secret Service. She is a Member of and has been credentialed by International Conference of Police Chaplains.
Lolita has a passion for God’s children to walk fully in their identities in Christ as the Heavenly Father’s beloved child. She yearns for unbelievers to some day know Jesus intimately and to receive all the gifts He has for them - and for all believers to experience and know the tangible love, intimacy, and the daily communal fellowship of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. She believes that when someone knows they are truly loved by God and when they tangibly experience God’s love, they are better able to walk in the purposes which God has uniquely created them for and are better able to express those purposes in their daily lives on earth. She believes that through their genuine expression of their authentic identities as a beloved child of God, they increasingly become a blessing to the world. It is God’s intention for God’s Family to reveal Jesus’ Love to the world through their love of God and through their love of others.
Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
